TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Purchasing and Shipping

I want you to be happy with your new pottery. If you have any questions, please contact me at a.vv@hotmail.co.uk.

I take care to show my work as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. However, the image that you see online may vary slightly from the real thing. This may be due to the limitations of photography, screen settings, browsers etc and of course the light within which you view the work. Every piece is handmade and original; there will be natural variations in the material and the way that it’s fired, some that I actively encourage. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork will not be deemed by us as a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Orders can take up to 5-6 business days, (or longer depending on particular circumstances). I will use the carrier’s tracking facility where possible to help make you aware of the delivery timings.

If you’d rather come and collect your order, please get in touch to arrange this, shipping costs can then be deducted accordingly.

If you provide the wrong shipping details and fail to identify the error until after the parcel has been shipped out, then the lost parcel is your responsibility. I will of course always try to resolve the situation if I can, but in the case it is lost, I will not offer a refund.

Returns and Refunds

If the item arrives in a broken state, please photograph the pot and get in touch within 5 days of your receipt of the parcel.

Returns are only accepted if the wrong item has been sent to you, if this occurs, please get in touch asap.

Caring for pots

Stoneware ceramics are tough and durable, but, if possible, please wash your handmade pots by hand and avoid using strongly staining foods/ liquids with them. It will help avoid the risk of discolouration if you wash them quickly and don’t leave staining liquids in them for long periods of time.

If necessary, pots can go in the dishwasher at a lower temperature, but you do risk damaging the work. Pots should not go in an oven or freezer as the thermal shocks can crack the ware.
