Hello, I’m Andy van Vliet a studio potter based in Sheffield; I make sculptural objects with a functional purpose.

My practice is centrered around the wheel and in using a restricted series of functional forms; the vase, bowl, jar. Whilst I do hope to sell my work, I’m primarily driven by the wonder of making objects and the pleasure that well-crafted handmade artefacts can bring.
